In a break from traditional corporatewear and workwear exhibitions, Incorporatewear exhibited at the 2009 Building Societies Association Conference, held at Harrogate’s International Centre during May.
Incorporatewear has a proud history of supplying corporatewear solutions to the broader financial sector. Amongst others it can count Barclays, HSBC and Nationwide as long-term clients.

“It may come as a surprise to find Incorporatewear exhibiting amongst insurers, asset managers and security experts but we truly believe that corporatewear also holds an important place in building societies’ operations”, enthuses Rob Pollock, Incorporatewear’s Managing Director. “Brand image is important to all these societies and their customers want to deal with members of staff who are well-dressed and presentable. Incorporatewear understands that garments in the corporate workplace need to reach high levels of durability, style and fit – that’s exactly what we do and what our clients value. Plus we believe our service levels to be second to none. I think it all makes for a very compelling message.”

Despite the recent economic downturn, particularly in the financial sector, Incorporatewear is still very optimistic about opportunities in the sector. So much so that it has launched its own range of tailored wear with this sector in mind.

“Many societies and indeed other clients are relatively small, with just a few hundred wearers,” explains Operations Director, Brian Lamb. “In some cases this makes the provision of a bespoke, managed range inappropriate. We have set out to provide a stylish, stocked range of tailored wear that meets all the demands of the workplace but without requiring a significant financial commitment from clients. We’re finding the market very receptive.”

Incorporatewear is capable of embellishing garments using its own in-house embroidery services and offer bespoke shirts, blouses and other accessories.

“It’s all about flexibility”, comments Brian Lamb. “Although we set out to provide a bespoke, design-led managed service, we recognise that some smaller clients may only require part of this offering. For these occasions we are now much better placed to help. Finding an optimal, individual solution always takes something a little bit special, which Incorporatewear is always delighted to provide.”
