We’re delighted to welcome Reece James (no, not the Chelsea FC captain), who joins WWUGL as a Business Development Manager, bringing with him a strong sales background and a passion for building long-term customer relationships.
A career built on results
Reece joins us from Ralawise, where he spent several years in the garment supply industry. Starting in sales and progressing to Internal Sales Team Leader, Reece managed a team of six and consistently delivered against revenue and performance targets. His organisation and reliability saw him recognised internally, leading to the opportunity to head up Ralawise’s bespoke service – a new department at the time.
One of Reece’s standout achievements was winning back a key customer from a competitor through trust and relationship-building alone, before growing the account by 127% by introducing new product opportunities and broadening the customer’s buying strategy.
Prior to this, Reece worked as a Sales Account Manager within the technology sector, managing a large portfolio of accounts. He holds a degree in Marketing with Advertising from Edge Hill University and has spent time travelling across Southeast Asia, experiences that have shaped his people-first approach to business.
A natural fit at Workwear Uniform Group
Reece was drawn to WWUGL’s fully integrated, end-to-end offering, allowing customers to benefit from everything being managed in-house. In his role, he’s looking forward to being out on the road, meeting customers, understanding their challenges and working closely with internal teams to deliver the right solutions.
Beyond the desk
Outside of work, Reece enjoys the gym, football (he’s a proud Manchester United supporter), and darts – bringing the same competitive spirit to his downtime as he does to his role.
